Originally from Boston, I grew up the son of a Naval officer in Kitsap County. After graduating from Central Kitsap High School in 2002, I wanted to buy a home ASAP; however, when I finally got hired at PSNS the housing market was in a BOOM! My pay raises weren’t coming close to keeping up with the market, so I decided that if I were to buy a home I’d need to find another way…. So, I enlisted into the Navy. I served over 9 years and spent half of that time on a submarine (SSBN 731 USS Alabama).
As soon as I could qualify for housing assistance, I applied for a VA loan and purchased my first property in 2009. I instantly became a homeowner and a landlord at the same time as there were 2 homes on the same property.
After life on the USS Alabama, I chose to go recruit out of Boston, MA… That’s where I found out how much I enjoyed changing people’s lives and understanding their needs, always placing them above my own. I won multiple awards while recruiting my first 2 years, and it was for the simple fact that I put others’ needs above my own. For my last year in recruiting, they moved me up to Headquarters in Southie, where I was able to help people but from a far as things were never quite as personal with me “up in the glass palace”.
I wanted to get back to helping people and so naturally I decided to get my Broker’s License. Providencia was a perfect fit for me since they seemed to be more about the people than the commission. This reminded me of our theory while I was recruiting that if you take care of your people, they’d in turn take care of you.
Buying property for most people is the biggest decision of their lives. I want to be there with you to ensure you make an informed decision. This decision should be made with real information and as emotional as a purchase or sale might be, I’ll do my best to keep emotion from clouding up your judgement.
Like the many folks I still keep in touch with from my days of putting people in the Navy, I want to create lasting relationships here and I thrive to give top notch service to my clients so that they might refer me to their friends and family because people are what this is all about.
